According to FIFA's announcement, the conditions and quality of service for teams participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup will be the same as those for men's teams participating in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. In addition, in addition to doubling the support fund for the preparation phase to 31 million USD (already allocated to the football federations of the countries whose women's teams have qualified for the 2023 Women's World Cup), FIFA will add 110 million USD and distribute it based on the team's performance in the tournament.
This fund will be enjoyed and used by the participating football federations as follows:
- A sum for the football federation to cover the costs of the national team participating in the tournament and to invest in football development. Accordingly, each national federation will receive support depending on the team's performance in the tournament, to cover the costs related to the team's preparation and participation in the tournament and to use it for the football development activities of the national football federation. Specifically, the team that enters the group stage receives 1.56 million USD (more than 35 billion VND), the team that enters the round of 16 receives 1.87 million USD... and the champion is 4.29 million USD.
- Bonus for players: Each individual player from the final registration list will receive a bonus depending on their performance. Accordingly, if the national football federation team stops at the group stage, each player participating in the tournament will receive 30,000 USD (about 700 million VND). If the national football federation team wins the championship, each player participating will receive 270,000 USD.
The Vietnamese women's football team is training in Europe to best prepare for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
In addition, the total amount allocated to clubs increased from 8.5 million USD to 11.5 million USD. This shows the growing importance of football clubs around the world in developing and professionalizing women's football.
As announced by FIFA, with the participation in the 2023 Women's World Cup, the management unit of the Vietnamese women's team (Vietnam Football Federation) has owned 1.56 million USD.
