FPT demonstrates technology that takes user happiness as a guiding principle

Leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province opened the Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Exhibition within the framework of the 24th Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Development Cooperation Conference in Binh Dinh.

The chip-embedded citizen identification card (CCCD) authentication solution - FPT.IDCheck and the chip-embedded CCCD card scanning device - FPT.IDReader are capable of facial recognition and information authentication with up to 100% accuracy, helping to optimize all identification activities in a variety of fields: Tourism , Banking - Finance, Insurance, E-commerce, Real Estate... as well as at any businesses and units that need identification such as: schools, notary offices, hospitals.

Currently, FPT is one of the few units in Vietnam that fully meets the standards of technology and security, licensed by the Ministry of Public Security to provide chip-embedded CCCD card authentication services. In education, more than 20,000 candidates were authenticated with chip-embedded CCCD when participating in the thinking assessment exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2023.

In healthcare, 300 hospitals and more than 100,000 patients use chip-embedded ID cards to replace health insurance cards for medical examination and treatment, saving 10,000 working days/year for manual comparison between health insurance cards and identification papers. 11 financial organizations and banks apply customer authentication via FPT.IDCheck for remote account creation or loan services.

akaCam is a video data analytics platform that converts video data into structured information that can be processed and analyzed, specifically: detecting, identifying, tracking, classifying and indexing objects and behaviors in videos. akaCam is deployed on many real projects for customers and commits to an average accuracy of over 95% for key functions.

akaCam combined with FPT.IDCheck replaces the traditional form of CCCD checking, optimizing time and human resources, while completely preventing fraudulent behavior, ensuring transparency in driving tests, and limiting incidents/negative behavior occurring in the organization of driving tests.
