Song Than Station is about to receive an investment of more than 180 billion VND, exploiting international transport.

Song Than station representative said that the station is currently preparing to construct items of the renovation and upgrading project. Accordingly, in March, construction will begin on the new AB4 cargo yard (An Binh), railway, level crossings, internal roads (including new and repaired roads)... These are items in phase 1 to increase the cargo handling capacity at this station to 2.5 million tons/year (phase 2 has not yet been allocated funding). Hopefully, after the inauguration, the "potholes" situation will be resolved.
