Nearly 1,700 high school managers and teachers received professional training.

During 6 days (from August 18 to 23), the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province organized 2 training sessions and professional development courses for high school level in 2025 for nearly 1,700 trainees who are managers, core teachers, and teachers at high schools.

Students attend training courses.

The training courses are held at two locations to facilitate the movement of trainees. Location 1 includes schools in the southern region of the province (schools in the former Yen Bai province); Location 2 includes schools in the northern region of the province (schools in the former Lao Cai province).

Discussion and professional exchange activities are carried out in training classes.

During the training period, trainees were equipped with knowledge on the following contents: teaching difficult topics, STEM education , nurturing excellent students, gifted students, admission to grade 10, reviewing for high school graduation exams; developing and implementing lesson plans in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities; innovating testing and evaluating students in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities; applying information technology and digital transformation in teaching and learning.

At the end of the training session, trainees will do a review, evaluation, summary and draw lessons from the training session.

Many new contents on expertise and teaching methods were taught at the training course.

Based on the training content, managers, key department staff, and teachers participating in the training are responsible for implementing the training content at their units.

Through the training course, trainees will improve their professional and technical capacity to meet the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program; develop the self-study and self-training capacity of teachers and managers, and the capacity to organize and manage training activities and foster teachers and managers of general education institutions in the province.
