On the morning of January 1, at berths 2, 3, and 4 of Cai Lan port, managed by Cai Lan International Container Port Company Limited, the Nanjing Express and OG Ginkgo ships received 80,000 tons of wood chips for export. The unit has fully arranged human resources and equipment to ensure convenient, safe, and quick loading and unloading of goods.
2024 is considered a successful year for the operations of Cai Lan International Container Terminal Company Limited when it has handled about 7 million tons of bulk cargo through the port, an increase of nearly 10% compared to the annual plan.
According to the plan, in 2025, the unit aims to have more than 6 million tons of bulk cargo through the port, a 10% - 15% increase in revenue compared to the 2024 plan.
Also on January 1, Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock Company also unloaded over 73,700 tons of bulk cargo.
In 2024, despite facing many challenges, especially the impact of storm No. 3, the staff and workers of Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock Company made efforts to overcome difficulties, completing the output of over 10.3 million tons of bulk cargo through the port, an increase of 11% compared to the annual plan.
In 2025, Quang Ninh Port Joint Stock Company aims to have over 9.3 million tons of goods passing through the port.
