At the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong informed about the implementation of the city's socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year, the implementation of 2-level local government and key tasks and solutions in the last months of 2025.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the socio-economic situation of Hue city is stable, people's lives are gradually improved. GRDP achieved a growth rate of 9.39%, higher than the national average (7.31%), ranked 9th out of 34 provinces and cities; budget revenue reached 7,430 billion VND, up 26%. The cultural and social sector continued to flourish, especially tourism with more than 3.3 million visitors, an increase of more than 70%, including 383 thousand international visitors. The city successfully organized many large-scale political and cultural events, creating positive effects in the community.

People agree with and trust the policies of innovation, streamlining the apparatus, improving the efficiency of the political system, and protecting people's rights. Voters highly appreciate the Central, National Assembly, and People's Council conferences and support policies on science and technology development, digital transformation, private economy , anti-commercial fraud, and administrative reform; including the movements "Digital Education for the People" and "Online Public Services" on the Hue-S platform.
