Nearly 200 bonsai works meeting 'ancient, strange, and beautiful' standards are displayed in Quang Ngai City.

On February 1, at Pham Van Dong Street, Quang Ngai City (Quang Ngai), the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City organized the opening ceremony of the Spring Flower Fair, photo exhibition, spring newspaper and bonsai exhibition.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the Spring Flower Fair, photo exhibition, spring newspaper and bonsai art exhibition in Quang Ngai City.

There are nearly 200 bonsai and ornamental plant works selected by artisans and gardeners in Quang Ngai province to participate in the exhibition to welcome the spring of Giap Thin 2024.

The exhibition was attended by 72 members, artisans and gardeners in Quang Ngai province. The bonsai trees were diverse in size, type and unique in shape, attracting many people to come and admire and take photos.

According to Mr. Le Van Cam (in Tinh Phong commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai), this year, there are some trees that only have trunks and branches, not leaves, very beautiful and unique.

Mr. Huynh Kim Chi (in Nguyen Nghiem Ward, Quang Ngai City) said that this year's exhibition has more trees than last year, with newer varieties.

"Many trees displayed here cost from 7 million VND to 500 million VND. From morning until now, many people have come to admire and take pictures," said Mr. Chi.

Mr. Hoang Van Thu, Chairman of the Quang Ngai City Bonsai Association, said that the artists brought their most dedicated bonsai works to the exhibition. Therefore, the quality of the works this time is quite high, meeting the criteria of "ancient, strange, beautiful".

"In addition to the exhibition, the organizing committee will score and award prizes to the entries," Mr. Thu added.

Many visitors said that the elm tree on display this time has a very beautiful shape and branches.
