Nearly 200 martial artists compete at the Taekwondo Team Tournament, Buon Ma Thuot City Cup

On August 19 and 20, the Department of Culture and Information of Buon Ma Thuot City coordinated to organize the Taekwondo Team Tournament, Buon Ma Thuot City Open Cup 2023.

The tournament had nearly 200 martial artists from 15 clubs in and outside the province (Kon Tum, Khanh Hoa, Dak Nong, Ho Chi Minh City). The martial artists competed in team fighting for age groups of 12, 13-14, 15-17 and over 17.

Boxers compete in the 15-17 age group.

At the end of the tournament, Ea Kar Club ranked first overall with 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal; second: Binh Thanh Club, Ho Chi Minh City (2 gold medals, 2 bronze medals) and third: Hoa Xuan Club, Buon Ma Thuot City with 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals.

The organizing committee awarded prizes to the clubs with high achievements at the tournament.

This is the first time the tournament has been organized in an open format, aiming to create conditions for martial artists from localities inside and outside the province to compete and improve their professional skills, thereby strengthening the spirit of solidarity among martial artists from clubs studying Taekwondo in and outside the province.
