At the meeting, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces reviewed the 79-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the provincial armed forces.
Accordingly, at the end of October 1945, the Central and Regional Party Committee delegations came to Dak Lak to direct the preparation for the resistance war. In Dak Nong, the Three Border Front Command (present-day Tuy Duc district) was established, the first armed forces to fight in the Dak Nong region.

On November 5, 2014, the Command of Military Region 5 decided to take October 27, 1945 - the date of establishment of the Three Border Front Command - as the traditional day of the Dak Nong Provincial Armed Forces.

Over the past 79 years, the Dak Nong Provincial Armed Forces have continuously developed and matured in all aspects, successfully completing national defense - security tasks and protecting the Fatherland in each stage of the revolution.

Generations of cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces have always maintained their steadfast revolutionary qualities, fulfilled their assigned tasks well, and made great contributions to the cause of protecting and developing the homeland.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Dak Nong Provincial Military Command, requested officers and soldiers to continue to uphold revolutionary heroism, promote traditions, and strive to build the provincial armed forces increasingly strong in the direction of revolution, discipline, eliteness and modernity, worthy of the noble title "Uncle Ho's soldiers" as a solid and reliable support of the Party Committee and people of Dak Nong province.
