G-Dragon arrived in Hanoi, "forest" of fans brought chrysanthemums to welcome him like a festival

(Dan Tri) - G-Dragon arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam at 10pm on June 20. Hundreds of fans carrying chrysanthemum symbols came to Noi Bai airport to welcome their idol after 8 years of waiting.

G-Dragon appeared before fans at around 10pm on June 20 at Noi Bai airport, Hanoi .

A large number of fans were present at the airport to wait for G-Dragon to come to Vietnam to attend the music festival taking place on June 21 at My Dinh Stadium.

Since early afternoon, the international arrivals area has been crowded with people. Fans brought light sticks, banners, and especially shirts and accessories with the daisy symbol missing one petal - the familiar logo of the Peaceminusone brand founded by G-Dragon himself - making the airport area as bright as a "daisy garden".

Long lines of fans patiently lined up for hours at Noi Bai airport to wait for G-Dragon's appearance.

Among that crowd, there were many fans who had followed the male idol for nearly a decade. “I have waited more than 8 years to see G-Dragon return to Vietnam. Even though I am not sure if I can meet him today, I still want to come to feel the atmosphere and cheer for him from afar,” Thu Trang (20 years old, Hanoi) shared while standing in the middle of the waiting crowd.

Before G-Dragon arrived, security forces continuously tightened security barriers to ensure the safety of fans as well as other passengers landing at Noi Bai airport.

Many fans traveled from far away provinces to Hanoi, despite the heat and hours-long wait, just hoping to see their idols with their own eyes after many years of absence.

Among the "forest" of fans, it is impossible not to mention the outfits that fans have prepared with great passion. Hong Hanh (far right, HCMC) shared that she flew to Hanoi early in the morning, bringing a red dress with outstanding roses that she chose herself.

In particular, Hanh also personally attached more than 1,000 stones to the crown as a way to express her love for the idol she has loved for over 10 years.

Hong Hanh (21 years old, a student) said: "Seeing Long (the nickname Vietnamese fans call G-Dragon) makes me feel satisfied, it's worth the time I've spent waiting from noon until now. Now I have to go back to the city, maybe I can get home before 12 o'clock".

The music event taking place tomorrow, June 21, at My Dinh Stadium will not only gather famous Korean stars but also mark the first time G-Dragon has performed in Vietnam in many years.

After G-Dragon arrived at Noi Bai airport, he quickly got into his car to continue his schedule in Hanoi, instead of staying to interact with fans.
