On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on May 27, 2025, at the end of the trading session, Robusta coffee prices fluctuated slightly for long-term delivery, while near-term delivery prices were little changed and stable compared to the previous trading session, fluctuating between 4,616 and 4,809 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 was 4,790 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 was 4,786 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 was 4,760 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 was 4,694 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on May 27, 2025

On the contrary, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of May 27, after a period of sideways movement, slightly decreased again, the decrease was from 0.45 - 0.95 cents/lb, fluctuating from 343.55 - 363.00 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in July 2025 was 359.80 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 was 357.90 cents/lb; the delivery period in December 2025 was 353.25 cents/lb and the delivery period in March 2026 was 348.65 cents/lb.

Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 27, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces continued to move sideways and stabilize compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 122,400 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 122,500 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 122,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 122,500 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 122,500 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

Improved harvest prospects in major producing countries and a partial replenishment of confirmed stocks on both exchanges are continuing to put pressure on prices, although the overall global picture has not changed much, experts said.

Coffee traders said that the downward trend in coffee prices was mainly due to slow trading activities and increased supply from other major robusta producers such as Brazil and Indonesia. According to Reuters, traders said that although the current production from these two countries is not really abundant, the harvesting process has started and the supply will continue to increase in the coming time.

Even under the most optimistic scenarios for Brazil’s upcoming harvest, the global coffee market for the 2025/26 crop year will remain in a delicate balance between supply and demand, according to a report from Escritório Carvalhaes.

The World Bank in its latest Commodity Market Outlook report said that coffee prices have begun to cool since early April after reaching a record level in nominal terms earlier this year.

Vietnam will maintain its position as the world's number one Robusta coffee producer in the 2025/2026 crop year, with a projected output of 31 million 60kg bags, according to the latest forecast from the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). Robusta will continue to dominate with 30 million bags, while Arabica will contribute about 1 million bags. Indonesia is forecast to produce 11.3 million bags over the same period.
