In Japan, the RSS3 rubber price for June contract remained at 341.70 Yen/kg, showing that market sentiment is quite cautious.

In China, contracts traded from May to August kept prices in the range of 16,640 - 16,815 yuan/ton, with no major fluctuations.

On the SGX - Singapore exchange, TSR20 rubber prices continued to fluctuate. Specifically, the June 2025 contract decreased by 0.20 cents/kg to 172.10 cents/kg; July 2025 decreased by 0.20 cents/kg to 170.40 cents/kg; August 2025 decreased by 0.40 cents/kg to 169.40 cents/kg.

At the end of this week's trading session, spot rubber prices in Thailand increased due to bad weather pushing up prices, causing buyers to switch to cheaper futures contracts on the OSE.

“Bad weather has pushed up spot rubber prices in Thailand, prompting buyers to switch to cheaper OSE futures,” a Tokyo-based trader said, as reported by Business Recorder.

“Low domestic inventories – at just 4,000 tonnes, or half the normal level – have further fuelled buying amid concerns about a potential supply-demand crunch,” he added.

Meanwhile, investors anxiously await scheduled trade talks between Washington and Beijing in Switzerland today, which could mark the first step in resolving the damaging trade war between the world's top two economies .

Domestic rubber price

Rubber prices in the Central Highlands region - where many large rubber exploitation enterprises are concentrated - remain stable. Specifically, Ba Ria Rubber Company purchases latex at level 1 at 452 VND/degree TSC/kg for TSC from 30 and above; level 2 at 447 VND/degree TSC/kg for TSC from 25 to under 30; level 3 at 442 VND/degree TSC/kg for TSC from 20 to under 25.

Cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC ≥ 50% at 18,000 VND/kg; cup latex, coagulated latex with DRC from 45-50% at 16,700 VND/kg; coagulated latex with DRC from 35-45% at 13,500 VND/kg.

Phu Rieng Rubber Company purchases latex at 440 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex at 400 VND/DRC/kg.

The purchase price of latex at Binh Long Rubber Company is 386 - 396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is 14,000 VND/kg.

Mang Yang Rubber Company, latex purchase price decreased by 18.5 VND, currently fluctuating between 397 - 401 VND/TSC, depending on the type. Accordingly, latex type 1 is at 401 VND/TSC/kg; latex type 2 is at 397 VND/TSC/kg.

Grade 1 mixed latex is at 409 VND/DRC/kg; grade 2 mixed latex is at 359 VND/DRC/kg./.
