Chicken prices in Hai Duong may increase by 10,000-15,000 VND/kg near Tet

According to the Tan Viet Commune (Thanh Ha) Commercial Chicken Farming Cooperative and the Chi Linh Hill Chicken Farming, Processing and Consumption Association, the current price of commercial chicken is between 60,000-72,000 VND/kg, an increase of about 10,000-15,000 VND/kg compared to the same period last year. With this price, farmers earn more than 30 million VND/1,000 chickens.

Some farmers believe that from now until Tet, the price of commercial chicken may increase by 10,000-15,000 VND/kg because this is a product that is consumed strongly during Tet.

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, during the Tet holiday, the demand for chicken meat in the province is about 500-550 tons. Chicken farmers are implementing synchronous solutions for care and disease prevention to ensure healthy chicken flocks and timely supply to the market.
