After the adjustment on the morning of April 16, the live pig market in the Central Highlands continued to stagnate this morning (April 18). Currently, the price of live pigs in the provinces and cities in the region has a large difference, with the selling price ranging from 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.

The highest regional price of VND73,000/kg was recorded in Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces. Following were Binh Dinh, Quang Binh and Ho Chi Minh City provinces with live hog prices reaching VND70,000/kg.

Similar to the two markets above, live pigs in the Southern region remained stable in price this morning. Accordingly, live pigs in the provinces and cities in the region are being bought and sold at prices ranging from 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg.

The latest survey shows that Ben Tre and Dong Nai are the localities with the highest live pig prices in the country, reaching 75,000 VND/kg.
