Dong Nai: Ensuring quality in all aspects of military recruitment

Rewarding individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army

In 2025, the Military Service Council (NVQS) issued orders to 3,092 citizens, including 2,953 official ones, and selected 7 female citizens to join the army for units of the Ministry of National Defense .

In terms of quality, 65 citizens (2.2%) are party members; more than 19% of citizens have intermediate to college or university degrees; more than 1.1% of citizens are civil servants and public employees, and more than 4.3% of citizens are children of cadres participating in military service.

Colonel Bui Dang Ninh, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, commended families with achievements in encouraging their children to join the army.

2025 is the year to implement the Party and State's policy on restructuring the political system, including merging some provincial-level units. Dong Nai merges with Binh Phuoc, merging commune-level units... will certainly impact the selection process and calling citizens to join the army.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung requested that the Military Service Council, the Provincial Military Command and localities synchronously and closely implement the steps in the military recruitment process according to the Military Service Law and guiding documents for implementation, until there are new guiding documents and the completion of the arrangement of the commune-level apparatus and the merger of the province.

Military Service Councils at all levels proactively coordinate with departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations to continue to advise, propagate, strengthen the grasp and management of citizens ready to join the army, ensuring strictness, timeliness, accuracy, avoiding passivity and surprise, and implementing well the selection steps in accordance with legal regulations, completing the annual legal targets.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 collectives, 21 households, and 41 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army.
