(DN)- The Department of Education and Training of Bien Hoa city is implementing instructions for kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools to conduct enrollment at the beginning of the school year, preparing for the new school year 2025-2026.

Accordingly, public schools from kindergarten, primary school and secondary school in Bien Hoa city still basically enroll students according to the same route as previous years.

For secondary schools with enrollment quotas for grade 6 that are less than the actual demand in the area, the admission method will be implemented, taking scores from high to low until the quota is met. Students who do not pass the entrance exam for grade 6 as desired will be supported to continue applying to other schools with quotas.

The most notable new point in Bien Hoa city's primary school enrollment is that schools only organize enrollment registration online, instead of using paper documents like previous years. With online enrollment, parents do not have to go to school to submit their application, but only submit it online with simple and convenient operations.

Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bien Hoa City, Luu Thi Hang, said that Bien Hoa City will thoroughly transform digitally in enrollment work, thanks to a complete data system on the National Population Data System and updated learning results of students from schools in the area. When implementing online enrollment, it will significantly reduce time and effort compared to manual enrollment, on the other hand, it will also limit negativity in enrollment work, ensuring fairness in enrollment.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Bien Hoa city is expected to have nearly 7,500 preschool children, nearly 17,800 students entering grade 1 and over 18,000 students entering grade 6. In addition, the city also has 14,000 grade 9 students who have completed the junior high school program, who are oriented to take the entrance exam or be admitted to grade 10 of high schools, continuing education centers, and vocational education centers in the city, in line with the Government's orientation of student streaming after junior high school.
