* According to the latest monthly report from Pork Checkoff, US pork exports are growing well.
The report highlights significant achievements in key export markets, contributing to the overall strength of the industry despite ongoing global challenges.
Key markets such as Mexico, Japan and China continued to lead U.S. pork imports, reflecting sustained demand for high-quality U.S. pork products. Notably, exports to Mexico grew steadily, cementing its position as the top destination for U.S. pork. The report also noted positive trends in exports to Japan, where demand for pork cuts remained strong.
China, a key market for US pork, has also shown resilience as exports maintained steady volumes.
However, the report suggests that fluctuations in Chinese import demand could impact future export figures, forcing US manufacturers to remain adaptable to changing market conditions.
