The program's organizing committee received 107 nominations from 49 Vietnam Youth Unions of provinces and cities. The selection council reviewed, evaluated and selected 58 outstanding teachers to be honored in the "Sharing with Teachers" program in 2023. Among them, Gia Lai province has teacher Vu Van Tung - working at Dinh Nup Primary and Secondary School (Po To commune, Ia Pa district) who was honored at the program.

With nearly 10 years of working at Dinh Nup Primary and Secondary School, Mr. Tung clearly understands the difficulties and deprivation of students in disadvantaged areas. On December 5, 2021, Mr. Tung founded and built the "0-dong bread cabinet" model to support breakfast for more than 200 ethnic minority students. The total cost of implementing the model to date is nearly 400 million VND. In addition, Mr. Tung also implemented the model "Giving livelihoods to poor students", giving 7 goats and 9 cows to disadvantaged students of schools in the district.

During the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, Mr. Tung mobilized teachers, friends, family and benefactors to donate more than 200 million VND (including money and gifts) to the "Continuing to School" fund to give gifts to students and families in difficult circumstances...

In teaching, Mr. Tung always improves his knowledge and personal ethics to serve his professional tasks well; advises the Board of Directors to organize meetings with village elders, village chiefs, departments, branches, and local organizations to propagate and mobilize students to go to school...

The program “Sharing with teachers” was organized to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), to encourage, motivate and show gratitude for the contributions of teachers to ethnic minority children. Through the program, it creates interest and calls on society to continue to help and support teachers and students in remote, mountainous areas, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions.
