The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang province launched a campaign to support people in provinces affected by storm No. 10.

On the afternoon of October 5, at An Vinh Pagoda, An Tuong Ward, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang Province held a launching ceremony to support people in provinces affected by storm No. 10.

Venerable Thich Gia Quang presented 30 million VND in support to representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Farmers' Association of the province.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Central Information and Communications Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang province, emphasized that in the past 9 months, 4 consecutive storms appeared in the East Sea, including storm No. 10, which had a strong impact on many localities. Floods after the storms caused heavy damage to people and property, including the people of Tuyen Quang.

Promoting the precious tradition of the nation, with the spirit of "Mutual love and support", the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang province earnestly calls on monks, nuns, Buddhists, and monasteries to express good feelings, share, and help spiritually and materially, contributing with the Party and State to support people in overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 10.

After the launching ceremony, Venerable Thich Gia Quang presented 30 million VND in support to representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Farmers' Association of the province.
