The first working session of the 1st Provincial Women's Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of November 28, at the Great Hall of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee headquarters (before the merger), the Tuyen Quang Provincial Women's Union held the first working session of the first Congress of delegates, term 2025 - 2030. Attending were leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; departments, branches and 348 official delegates representing over 291,000 women members in the whole province.

At the working session, the Congress elected the Presidium and the Congress Secretary; listened to reports on the situation of delegates attending the Congress. Unanimously approved the Working Program, Rules and Regulations of the Congress. In addition, the Congress listened to the presentation of the Report synthesizing comments on the draft Political Report of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 13th term, and the draft Charter of the Union (amended and supplemented). In addition, delegates participated in discussions and contributed many comments to complete the documents submitted to the Congress.

The Presidium runs the Congress.

The Provincial Women's Congress took place on November 28 and 29 with the motto: Solidarity - Creativity - Integration - Development. The Congress has the theme: Tuyen Quang women promote tradition, bravery, intelligence, and aspirations to rise up in the new era; build a strong organization, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of Tuyen Quang province. The Congress has the task of evaluating the results of the Women's Union's activities and the women's movement in the period of 2021 - 2025; propose directions, tasks, and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030. This is an important political and social event of all levels of the Women's Union and all classes of women in the province; a forum to express the will, aspirations, and determination of women to contribute their efforts and intelligence to the cause of building and developing a rich and civilized homeland of Tuyen Quang.

At the first working session, the Provincial Women's Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 74 collectives and 80 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing emulation movements and Union tasks for the period 2021-2025. Tomorrow morning (November 29), the Provincial Women's Congress will hold its opening session with many important contents.
