135 brothers and sisters entered the Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VIII

Attending the Congress were 900 official delegates who are outstanding young entrepreneurs, representing more than 21,000 young entrepreneur members nationwide.

Speaking at the opening of the first session, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh said that in the past term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership of the Party and the State; the direction of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Vietnamese young entrepreneur community has clearly demonstrated the spirit of "Pioneering innovation - Creating value", firmly overcoming difficulties, maintaining production and business, ensuring jobs for workers and actively participating in social responsibility.

This Congress is held to evaluate the results of the organization and operation of the Association for the 2022-2025 term; unify the goals, directions, tasks, and solutions for developing the Association and the Vietnamese young entrepreneurs movement in the 8th term and the following years; discuss and approve the Association's Charter (amended).

The Congress also reviewed and evaluated the activities of the Central Committee of the Association for the 7th term and consulted to elect the Association Committee for the 8th term as a truly united and unified collective with steadfastness, capacity, ethics, and prestige, representing the will and aspirations of a large number of young entrepreneurs nationwide, capable of leading the successful implementation of the Association's tasks in the coming term.

In the context of the country facing a new development stage, with the requirement of innovation and deep integration, the action slogan for the 2025-2030 term was determined by the Congress: "Pioneering innovation - Creating value - Firmly entering the new era".

In particular, the member business community aims to contribute 15% of the national GDP and create jobs for 8 million workers. These figures show that a generation of young entrepreneurs is daring to take on greater responsibility in the context of a volatile global economy , constantly restructuring supply chains and increasingly fierce competitive pressure.

At the first session, the Congress consulted and elected the Presidium of 33 members, the Secretariat of 5 members and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 5 members.

The Congress also approved the Program and Regulations of the Congress; Summary report on the results of the Association's activities for the 7th term and draft directions for the Association's activities for the 8th term; Review report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, 7th term; discussed the amendment and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

The Congress elected 135 members to the Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VIII; and elected the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term VIII, consisting of 7 members.

Tomorrow (November 27), the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, term 2025-2030, will hold a solemn session.

Impressive numbers for the 2022-2025 period of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association:

Create jobs for 5 million workers.
Total annual revenue is over 40 billion USD and contributes more than 10% of national GDP.
Implemented 1,453 social activities, with a total value of nearly 300 billion VND
1,062 policy consultation and dialogue activities at all levels.
1,446 trade promotion, investment and international cooperation activities were carried out.
Organized 1,449 training and coaching programs, with many innovative contents towards digitalization and modern management.
Organized 1,165 sporting events to create a useful playground for members.
