Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,300 - 5,500 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,800 - 7,200 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,800 - 7,200 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,900 - 6,200 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,500 - 5,800 VND/kg; The price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates at 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the supply of Summer-Autumn rice is slow, the price fluctuates slightly. In Kien Giang, traders buy Summer-Autumn rice slowly, the price depends on the cutting day. In Can Tho , Summer-Autumn rice is stable, traders buy slowly, the price is stable. In Long An, the price of Summer-Autumn rice is slow, new buying and selling transactions are still slow.

In Dong Thap, the quantity is small, the rice supply is sporadic, and trading is quiet. In An Giang , the early-harvested Summer-Autumn rice supply is small, trading is not much, and prices fluctuate slightly. In Tien Giang, Summer-Autumn rice trading is sporadic, and prices are relatively stable.

As for by-products, the prices of by-products range from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice ranges from 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg; bran prices range from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, variety 50404, OM 380 has limited supply, warehouses ask to buy good rice but warehouses buy due to shortage of goods, slow buying and selling transactions, prices fluctuate little.

In An Giang, the supply is low, the quality of new rice is poor, the price of good rice is increased. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is low, all kinds of rice are stable. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the price of all kinds of rice is relatively stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), small amount of rice arrives, market warehouses buy good rice regularly, prices fluctuate little. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), small amount of rice arrives, buying and selling transactions are regular, prices are stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 397 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 321 USD/ton.
