Through the work of monitoring the situation in cyberspace, recently, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Hanoi City Police discovered the trick of subjects using fake emails, websites, groups, and fanpages of large corporations to recruit jobs.

When candidates apply, the subjects invite candidates to online interviews and ask them to join the Workplace chat platform for businesses. Then, the subjects provide account numbers and ask candidates to transfer application fees to participate in the next interview round or deposit money into social security projects and then appropriate the money.

To prevent the above tricks, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Hanoi City Police, recommends that people be vigilant and inform their relatives and friends about the above tricks, to avoid falling into the traps of bad guys.

When working as a collaborator for companies, businesses, and suppliers of goods and services, people need to clearly check information about the goods and suppliers through many different sources to verify accuracy.

If fraud is discovered, people need to immediately report it to the police to quickly verify, prevent and handle violators according to the law.
