Gold prices increase sharply, reaching an all-time high

This morning, August 14, the domestic gold price increased by 500,000 VND/tael, to 124.7 million VND/tael - the highest level ever.

This development originated from the international market. Early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,358 USD/ounce, up 13 USD compared to the lowest level in the trading session last night, and compared to the same time the day before, it "increased" 6 USD/ounce.

At nearly 9:00 a.m., the gold price continued to increase to 3,366.6 USD/ounce, converted to about 18 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the domestic market, at the opening, businesses listed the price of SJC gold bars at 123.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 124.7 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 500,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of gold rings also increased. Phu Quy Group set it at 116.8 million VND/tael (buy) -119.8 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 300,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased by VND500,000/tael each way, to VND116.8 million/tael (buy) - VND119.3 million/tael (sell).

In the same trend, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed at 117.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 120.5 million VND/tael (sell) instead of the previous 117 million VND/tael (buy) - 120 million VND/tael (sell).

At the current price, the price of SJC gold bars has broken the old record of 124.4 million VND/tael to set a new record.

Yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars initially remained stable but then increased by VND300,000/tael each way, to VND123 million/tael (buy) - VND124.2 million/tael (sell).
