
This morning (August 26), domestic gold prices simultaneously increased by 600,000 VND/tael, currently trading around 127.7 million VND/tael, while the central exchange rate dropped sharply by 18 VND.
At 9:00 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 126.1-127.7 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while at Phu Quy Company it was announced at 125.1-127.7 million VND/tael, both up 600,000 VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was announced to be from 119.2-122.2 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 400,000 VND; and at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, it was from 119.6-122.6 million VND/tael, also an increase of 400,000 VND/tael.
This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices was still maintained at a high level by businesses, in which SJC gold fluctuated from 1.6-2 million VND/tael, and ring gold was 3 million VND/tael.
In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,376 USD/ounce, up 14 USD/ounce compared to the previous session's close. This price is equivalent to 107.9 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank .
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,273 VND/USD, down 18 VND compared to the previous session.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,110 - 26,500 VND/USD, an increase of 20 VND; BIDV also increased by 20 VND, currently trading from 26,140 - 26,500 VND/USD (buy/sell).
Eximbank listed from 26,110-26,500 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 20 VND compared to the previous session.
Meanwhile, Vietinbank is flat, currently trading at 26,145-26,505 VND/USD (buy/sell).
