World oil prices rose slightly after OPEC+ decision
According to the oil price record today, October 7, 2025, from the Oilprice page at 4:30 a.m. (Vietnam time), Brent oil reached 65.52 USD/barrel, up 1.53% (equivalent to 0.99 USD). WTI oil also increased by 1.51%, to 61.79 USD/barrel.

Oil prices rose about 1% on Monday after OPEC+ announced a more modest than expected production increase for November. The 137,000 barrel/day increase helped ease concerns about oversupply, but experts said weak energy demand in the fourth quarter would limit price gains.
Domestic gasoline prices continue to increase
In Vietnam, gasoline prices today, October 7, are still applied according to the adjustment period from 3:00 p.m. on October 2.
Specifically, E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 6 VND/liter, to 19,624 VND/liter; RON95 III gasoline increased by 44 VND/liter, reaching 20,209 VND/liter. Diesel increased by 380 VND/liter, to 19,038 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 377 VND/liter, reaching 19,005 VND/liter; mazut increased by 161 VND/kg, reaching 15,370 VND/kg.
During this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund to ensure that retail prices closely reflect developments in the world market.
Overview: Oil prices recover, but momentum remains weak
Overall, oil prices today, October 7, continued to recover slightly, mainly due to OPEC+ keeping the production increase lower than expected. However, the weak demand outlook in the last quarter of the year and high inventories in the US may prevent world oil prices from breaking out strongly in the near future.
