Gasoline prices down, oil prices up from 3pm this afternoon

At the management session this afternoon (May 22), while the retail price of gasoline products decreased from 58 to 62 VND/liter, oil products increased from 88 to 177 VND/liter.

On May 22, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance issued a document regulating domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil.

Specifically, from 3:00 p.m. on May 22, the maximum retail price for E5RON92 gasoline is VND19,122/liter (down VND58/liter).

RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 19,532/liter (down VND 62/liter compared to the previous period).

Diesel 0.05S is not higher than VND 17,405/liter (an increase of VND 177/liter compared to the previous period).

Kerosene is not higher than 17,314 VND/liter (up 88 VND/liter compared to the previous period).

Madut oil 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 16,512 VND/kg (increase 352 VND/kg compared to the previous period).

In the adjustment period on May 22, the joint ministries decided not to set aside and not to spend the price stabilization fund for gasoline and oil for all products.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the implementation of regulations on ensuring petroleum supply, and strictly handle violations if detected.
