DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on June 27, each liter of gasoline became more expensive by more than VND500/liter, pushing the price of RON 95 III gasoline to more than VND23,000/liter. All types of oil also increased by more than VND220 to nearly VND330/liter or kg depending on the type.
During the operating period on June 27, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 506 VND/liter to 22,014 VND/liter, RON 95 III gasoline increased by 544 VND to the new price of 23,010 VND/liter.
RON 95 III gasoline price increased to more than 23,000/liter from 3:00 p.m. on June 27.
Oil prices also increased across the board. Diesel, kerosene and fuel oil increased by VND329, VND258 and VND223, respectively, compared to the current retail prices, to VND20,689/liter, VND20,614/liter and VND17,446/kg.
The decision to adjust retail gasoline prices this time was made in the context of the world gasoline market from June 20-26 being affected by factors such as: escalating tensions in the Middle East, increasing oil inventories in the US, ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine... These factors have caused world gasoline prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days, but the main trend is up.
