2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament: People's Police II meets Thailand in the semi-finals

On the evening of July 11, the 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament determined the four teams entering the semi-finals after the final matches of the group stage.

In the final match of Group B, the CAND Vietnam II team defeated Timor Leste 3-0 to take sole top spot. This result helped them advance to the semi-finals to meet the second team of Group A, Thailand, who narrowly missed out on a 2-4 defeat to Cambodia to advance.

The victory also helped Cambodia win Group A with 9 absolute points and meet Timor Leste (second in Group B) in the semi-finals.

In the final match, it was unfortunate for the CAND Vietnam I team because even though they won 5-4 against the Lao players, they still had to stop due to a lower goal difference than Thailand (same 4 points).

Semi-final match schedule takes place on Sunday (July 13) at Hang Day Stadium ( Hanoi ):

16:00: Cambodia vs Timor Leste

20:00: CAND Vietnam II vs Thailand
