Successful rescue of victims trapped in traffic accidents

A serious accident occurred in Dakrong commune, Quang Tri province, leaving the driver trapped in the car cabin.

Immediately after the accident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police promptly arrived, deployed professional measures, and successfully rescued the victim.

Police successfully rescued the driver trapped in the cabin due to the accident and took him to the hospital in time.

Accordingly, at 9:15 p.m. on July 17, 2025, at Km 56+200 of National Highway 9, in Lang Cat village, Dakrong commune, a tractor pulling a trailer with license plate 34RM-005.09 plunged into a deep ravine, trapping the driver in the cabin.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 6 urgently mobilized forces and specialized vehicles to the scene, coordinating with Dakrong Commune Police and Traffic Police to organize rescue work.

Through initial verification, the victim was Mr. NTT (born in 1990; hometown: Nam Sach commune, Hai Phong city) - the driver of the vehicle trapped in the cabin after the vehicle plunged into the abyss.

After about 30 minutes of deploying rescue measures using specialized vehicles and specialized demolition tools, at 4:02 a.m. on July 18, the rescue team rescued the victim and handed him over to local medical staff for timely emergency care.
