(Dan Tri) - The selfie mirror located in a church in Rome (Italy) is considered the most beautiful in Europe because just by standing there to take pictures, visitors have countless beautiful angles that cannot be found anywhere else.
There are two entrances for visitors to Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola, a famous 17th-century church in central Rome, which has a magnificent Baroque (artistic style derived from the Renaissance) facade.
The left entrance is for those who want to immerse themselves in the history and artistic treasures of the church. The left entrance is for visitors who want to take a picture of their reflection in the mirror, also known as the most beautiful "selfie mirror" in Europe.
A few years ago, the mirror was placed in the most lucrative position in the church. That is where visitors will see the reflection of the beautiful painting on the ceiling. The painting was created by Italian architect Andrea Pozzo.

But the painting is not something visitors are willing to wait in line for hours to see. When videos shared on TikTok by tourists taking photos with the mirror went viral, thousands flocked to the church just to see this seemingly ordinary object.
Many people consider the mirror to be a hidden gem, turning this place into a tourist attraction . Although there is no entrance fee to the church, visitors must pay 1 Euro (27,000 VND) to take a photo in front of the mirror.
Italian media commented that recently, the Roman Colosseum and Trevi Fountain are no longer the top priorities for tourists when coming to Rome.
"I came here just to take a selfie. We looked around Rome and found that taking a photo with a mirror was the hottest spot," said Noemy Timelli, 20, from Puglia.
Unfortunately, the young Italian tourists only took selfies with the viral mirror, without stopping to admire Pozzo's other masterpieces.
Similarly, Ms. Lama from Riad said that her purpose of coming here was just to take pictures.
"I saw the viral videos on TikTok so I wanted to come and experience it. I guess most of the young guests come here to take pictures and are not interested in art or history," the guest said.
Alessandro Marinucci was queuing with a friend who had traveled all the way to Rome. The young visitor admired the "marketing trick" of this destination.
"They turned the destination into a place to make money and attract tourists. All you have to do is look up at the painting and we all have to pay to take a picture in front of the mirror," he said.
But not everyone comes here just to queue up for a mirror selfie. Benedetta Palombo, a teacher from Pescara, was curious to see the ceiling painting from a new perspective.

"I feel like it's a waste of an opportunity to just come here and take pictures. But it's undeniable that this is a pretty good way to attract young people to the church. Hopefully some of them will learn to appreciate and learn more about the history of this place," Ms. Palombo said.
Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola is not the only place in Italy that has become the center of attention on social media.
Another central Rome attraction that has seen a surge in visitors after being promoted by social media influencers is the Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum, the Norwegian-American sculptor's former studio and residence. It is located near Piazza del Popolo.
