“Breakthrough performance solution” in high-tech shrimp farming

STO - That was the main topic of the customer seminar organized by CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company on August 13, at Hung Loc Phat Conference Center (Soc Tang city). Attending were representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Soc Trang ; more than 400 customers representing agents and shrimp farming households in the province.

Regarding the shrimp farming situation, the representative of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company said that since the beginning of 2024, the shrimp farming industry in the country in general and in Soc Trang province in particular has faced difficulties due to disease in the first months of the year and low shrimp prices recently. In order for Vietnam's shrimp prices to be competitive with other markets, many farmers have successfully implemented a low-cost shrimp farming model, bringing quite high results. This is the direction for shrimp farmers in the province.

Within the framework of the workshop, experts from CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company presented solutions to help shrimp farmers succeed and be competitive in costs, because most of the shrimp produced is for export, with presentations including: superior nutritional solutions of high ADG - low FCR; "breakthrough genetic solutions for rapid growth of breeds; BIOTIC solutions to protect shrimp - balancing 3 impacts; high productivity, low cost technical solutions.

The above solutions aim to contribute to increasing the survival rate, resistance of shrimp, improving growth rate; at the same time providing shrimp farmers with information on the nutritional value of shrimp feed, bringing the advantage of shortening the farming time.
