The aim was to help cooperatives understand the information and access relevant policies in the future to improve the efficiency of their operations.
Over the past period, the Provincial Cooperative Union has regularly coordinated with relevant departments and localities to organize numerous activities to disseminate policies and guidelines related to the collective economy to cooperatives in the province through various forms. As a result, some cooperatives have accessed state support policies such as being granted production area codes; participating in the OCOP program; and receiving financial support for building production-processing-consumption linkages according to Resolution 86 of 2019 of the Provincial People's Council.
At the conference, more than 100 delegates representing cooperatives in the province received information and guidance from specialized agencies of the agricultural sector on procedures, documents, and processes for accessing relevant policies. This included solutions for managing planting area codes; guidance on cooperatives accessing the OCOP program; and several policies supporting cooperative development in the current period. Priority was given to developing the collective economy and cooperatives linked to value chains, promoting green growth, sustainable development, and having a significant impact on members and the community.
Reportedly, to date, 13 cooperatives in the province have products certified with OCOP 3-star and 4-star ratings, and 7 cooperatives have received support in building supply chain linkages…
