New financial solution for home buyers: Borrow 1 billion VND, pay principal 1 million VND/month

The highlight of the loan package is the flexible principal repayment method that VIB pioneered. Accordingly, in the first 5 years, customers only have to pay 1 million VND in principal per month for 1 billion VND in outstanding debt, which is 0.1%/month.

According to a VIB representative, this solution is tailored for young people. This group often has small initial savings but great potential for future income growth. This solution helps them significantly reduce financial pressure in the early stages, easily access larger loans and soon own a house.

In addition to the above solutions, customers can also proactively customize the principal repayment plan, suitable for their needs and financial capabilities at different stages of life. Customers with stable income can choose to pay the principal every month, while young people who have just started working or are starting a business can choose the option of exempting the principal for 5 years or paying the principal in steps from only 0.1% in the first 15 years. Customers can also proactively pay off the debt in advance each month up to 25 million VND (equivalent to 300 million VND/year) without incurring an early repayment fee.

Fixed Interest Rates - The Foundation for Long-Term Financial Planning

Not only does VIB have a flexible principal repayment method, it also offers home buyers 3 fixed interest rate options: 5.9%/year for the first 6 months; 6.9%/year for the first 12 months; 7.9%/year for the first 24 months.

This is the only interest cost that the customer has to pay, without any binding conditions regarding region, cross-selling products or loan rates. This transparency helps borrowers easily calculate cash flow and proactively plan their finances.

After the fixed interest rate period, the interest rate will be calculated by the base interest rate plus a reasonable margin (currently 2.9%), and will be clearly announced on the website and credit contract.

One of the major barriers to home loans is the long waiting time for approval and disbursement. However, with a database of more than 500,000 apartments in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Binh Duong ..., VIB can quickly evaluate real estate.
