Vietnam Pickleball Tournament 2025 has a prize fund of up to more than 1 billion VND

On the afternoon of May 20, in Hanoi , a press conference was held to announce the Vietnam Pickleball Championship - Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup 2025 (Vietnam Pickleball Championship 2025) co-organized by the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department and Tien Phong newspaper.

The tournament is national in scale and is one of the tournaments with the largest prize fund today, with a total prize fund of more than 1 billion VND.

This includes more than 600 million VND in cash, with the highest value for the men's singles Super Cup - 50 million VND. In addition, there is also the women's Super Cup, 22 trophies for professional and amateur events, and 1 crown for the pickleball beauty award.

The 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Tournament is expected to take place from July 4 to 6 at the D-JOY Pickleball Court Complex (HCMC).

The Super Cup matches apply to the men's and women's singles events, and are matches between the two men's singles champions of the two professional age groups (group 1 and group 2); matches between the two women's singles champions of the two professional age groups (group 1 and group 2).

Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department - said that the scale of the tournament is large, helping the pickleball movement to develop further. Creating a premise for the Department to conduct professional development of this sport, as well as aiming to establish a pickleball federation.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - editor-in-chief of Tien Phong newspaper, head of the tournament's organizing committee - affirmed: "The tournament has strict regulations, is operated by a team of highly qualified organizers and referees, ensuring fairness and avoiding unnecessary controversies."
