Practice effort
In recent years, Aerobic Phu Yen has been considered one of the teams with quality development. The most notable is the gold medal in the Aerobic Step event at the 2022 National Sports Festival in Hai Phong. This achievement helps coach Tran Phuong Hanh and his team create a foundation and momentum to aim for higher goals. For Phu Yen high-performance sports, Aerobic is considered a strong sport and regularly wins many medals at national tournaments, while providing many quality athletes for the national youth team and the national team to compete in continental and world tournaments.
More importantly, compared to major sports centers in the country, Phu Yen still lacks facilities and the training regime is difficult, but coach Tran Phuong Hanh encourages his students to practice and compete, helping Aerobic Phu Yen reap success in recent times.
In preparation for the 2025 National Aerobic Gymnastics Club Championship, the host team Phu Yen has started training since February. In addition to the key athletes, the coaching staff has selected 9 more amateur athletes from training locations in the province, thereby increasing the number of athletes competing in the tournament to 22, with 16 competition events. According to the coaching staff of the Phu Yen Aerobic team, with a short-term training method, the training plans must ensure physical fitness, along with the competition exercises must be both technical and easy to perform, helping athletes quickly integrate and be able to compete in a professional environment.
“My colleague, Coach Huynh Ngoc Xuan Hang, and I have calculated optimal solutions that are suitable for the conditions and circumstances of Phu Yen sports, thereby having effective training sessions for the Phu Yen Aerobic team. We are confident that we can compete fairly with other teams, especially since the athletes have a very high competitive spirit. I hope that with the enthusiastic support of the audience at Le Trung Kien Stadium, we will give the Phu Yen Aerobic team more strength to achieve the goal of being in the top group of the tournament,” said Coach Tran Phuong Hanh.

Aerobic Party in Phu Yen
The 2025 National Aerobic Gymnastics Club Championship attracted nearly 200 athletes from 11 localities and strong clubs nationwide to compete at Le Trung Kien Gymnasium. According to experts, the quality of the tournament will be very high when the tournament has the participation of teams such as: Hanoi , Hai Phong, Tra Vinh and strong clubs of Ho Chi Minh City. According to experts, these are teams with potential and always have foreign experts to support the techniques and create exercises for the athletes.
Surely the athletes' performances will bring an artistic and sports feast to fans, and at the same time create more momentum for the Aerobic training movement to develop further in Phu Yen.
For the Phu Yen Aerobic team, the question is where will coach Tran Phuong Hanh and his team stand among the strong teams in the tournament. According to professional assessments, although they do not have foreign experts, over the years, the performances of Phu Yen Aerobic athletes have always impressed viewers. "Knowing how to promote strengths and overcome weaknesses", that is what experts say about coach Tran Phuong Hanh and his team.
With the current age range of 9-18, the Phu Yen Aerobic team aims for long-term tournaments, specifically the 2026 National Sports Festival in Ho Chi Minh City. However, there are still some events where Phu Yen will compete fairly with other teams, namely Aerobic Dance for the 18-year-old and 12-14-year-old age groups. These are the events that Phu Yen Aerobic aims to win gold medals.
According to professional assessment, although not having foreign experts, over the years, the performances of Phu Yen Aerobic athletes have always impressed viewers.
In recent training sessions, coach Tran Phuong Hanh and assistant Huynh Ngoc Xuan Hang guided their students to perform technical movements that are suitable for the qualities of Phu Yen athletes. These movements are suitable for modern music, bringing excitement to the audience. Hopefully, the athletes will have high performance to complete the gold medal goal for the host team Phu Yen in the matches against the country's major Aerobic centers.
