Currently, the province has 692 communal houses, 217 temples and 949 pagodas with more than 200,000 Buddhist followers, accounting for 10% of the province's population. The province has 1 Buddhist College and 2 Buddhist centers: Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Tri Yen Commune ( Bac Giang City) belonging to the Truc Lam Zen sect and Bo Da Pagoda, Tien Son Commune (Viet Yen Town) belonging to the Lam Te Zen sect.

In recent years, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has closely coordinated with the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee to promote propaganda and mobilize monks, nuns, Buddhists and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, develop the local socio -economy, build a civilized lifestyle, cultural families, eliminate superstition, protect national security and defense, maintain discipline and social safety.
Many communal houses, temples and pagodas have been renovated and embellished, contributing to the preservation and promotion of historical and cultural values, and have been ranked by the State as historical and cultural relics at the provincial, national and special national levels. The places of worship create conditions for people to participate in religious activities, ensuring solemnity, dignity, demonstrating civilization, progress, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of the nation. Every year, major festivals associated with religious and belief establishments in the province are solemnly organized, attracting a large number of Buddhists and tourists from all over the country, contributing to the promotion and development of tourism and spiritual culture.
The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Giang province actively implemented many charitable and humanitarian activities in response to "Tet for the poor", overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, preventing and fighting epidemics, supporting victims of Agent Orange, poor students overcoming difficulties with a total donation of more than 25 billion VND. Many pagodas carry out care for vulnerable groups such as: Hoang Mai Pagoda (Viet Yen), Song Khe Pagoda (Bac Giang city, Dai Giap Pagoda (Lang Giang), Nga Trai Pagoda (Hiep Hoa) ... adopting and caring for children in difficult circumstances, orphans, and lonely elderly people.
Discussing at the conference, some delegates expressed their opinions on the organization of temple festivals in some places which are still cumbersome and not in accordance with Buddhist rituals; the work of ensuring security, order and social safety at some festivals associated with places of worship is still limited, leading to bad elements infiltrating and stealing visitors' belongings; the management and use of donation boxes in some temples is still inadequate; and the risk of fire and explosion at places of worship.
The delegates agreed that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will continue to promote propaganda and raise awareness of the law on beliefs and religions for all classes of people, focusing on building green, clean, beautiful, safe, civilized communal houses, temples and pagodas, replicating typical communal house, temple and pagoda models. The management board will develop regulations for visitors to strictly follow, especially regulations related to preserving the landscape, protecting the environment, practicing a cultural lifestyle, eliminating superstition...
On this occasion, 11 collectives and 30 individuals were commended for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to build typical communal houses, temples and pagodas in the province.
