Delivering breeding cows to community production groups in Binh Phu commune, Phu Ninh district

On September 30, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Phu Ninh district coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Phu commune (Phu Ninh) and Minh Long Agricultural and Forestry Technology Transfer and Tourism Trade Joint Stock Company (Ba Vi - Hanoi) to organize the delivery of breeding cows to the community production group of Binh Phu commune.

Handing over breeding cows to poor households in Binh Phu commune

The project to support the breeding of Sind crossbred heifers of the community production group of Binh Phu commune under Project 2 - Diversifying livelihoods, sustainable poverty reduction under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021-2025 is being implemented in Phu Ninh district.

The project has assigned to the community production team of Binh Phu commune 10 Sind crossbred cows with a total value of nearly 444 million VND, of which the budget capital from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction is over 262 million VND, the rest is the counterpart capital of the people. All of the above cows have been fully vaccinated. Before receiving the breeding cows, the households were instructed by the professional staff of the breeding unit on breeding techniques, how to build barns, as well as how to handle some common diseases...

The Binh Phu commune community production team has 14 members, of which 4 members are good producers, playing the role of guiding poor and near-poor households on care and production techniques, ensuring that cattle raising households develop well and are healthy.

The delivery and receipt of breeding cows has helped, supported, and provided means of production, creating livelihoods for poor, near-poor, and newly escaped-poverty households to have conditions for sustainable economic development, gradually escape poverty, and stabilize their lives.
