According to information from the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences (under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology), at 9:29 AM on July 16th, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 occurred at coordinates 14.936 degrees North latitude - 108.283 degrees East longitude, with a focal depth of approximately 8.1 km. The earthquake occurred in Mang But commune, Quang Ngai province.
Earlier, also in Mang But commune, on July 15th, at 9:45 PM, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred at coordinates 15.004 degrees North latitude - 108.196 degrees East longitude, with a focal depth of approximately 8.1 km.

Both earthquakes were assessed as level 0 natural disaster risk. Currently, the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences is continuing to monitor this earthquake.
