Tho Xuan District Buddhist Sangha organizes Buddha's Birthday Ceremony, Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025

More than 2,600 years ago, in India, the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni Buddha, was born. Through the process of practicing, propagating the Dharma and saving lives, Buddha left humanity a priceless system of teachings on wisdom, compassion, love, peace, harmony and development.

At the Buddha's birthday ceremony, the content of the Buddha's birthday celebration - Buddhist calendar 2569 was read by the Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. With the meaning of the Buddha's birthday season, the season of love and understanding, the Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha called on every Buddhist to always diligently practice, embody the Samadhi of Compassion, spread love to all living beings, and light up this world with the light of tolerance and wisdom.

With all the sacred meaning of the Buddha's birthday, wishing all Buddhists around the world to unite, be in harmony and actively join humanity in creating a truly peaceful and happy world, the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Tho Xuan district held a ceremony to offer offerings to the Buddha's birthday, ringing the bell and drum three times to receive the birth ceremony; burning incense, offering flowers, bathing the Buddha statue and many other chanting rituals. Also at the ceremony, delegates and Buddhists released hundreds of balloons to pray for peace and happiness for all living beings.
