That day, 30 years ago, an unexpected incident in his family forced him to sadly "leave" the open door of his agency to return to the hometown that raised him. How could he forget the small, narrow ferry that had become so familiar with him as he went back and forth every day? At first, he followed the strong, sunburnt men diligently on each old boat floating on the lake's rippling waves. One day he went to the faraway fields to clear, plant, and hoe; the next day he was busy casting nets, catching fish and shrimp.
He remembered the kind neighbor who often saved some of his nephew’s tilapia, some of his shrimp. At that ferry, he first met the dark eyes of a girl whose face was almost covered, and then “got married with betel and areca nuts”. The memories of the ferry were even more memorable, because later, a few close brothers together bought their first iron boat, and durably cast their nets day and night.
Because there were not many visitors that day, the wind blowing from the lake surface from the clear blue water was even more intense. My friend said he felt elated when he first welcomed his old friends to his beloved place. Ia Chim has changed a lot since the rubber trees, coffee trees, and fruit trees appeared. Ia Chim has become more beautiful since the appearance of the boat dock.
No matter where they go, the Gia Rai brothers born here are always proud of the place where they grew up. There is no place like this land, fertile land with rivers, streams, and mountains in harmony. And the Ya Ly hydroelectric reservoir was formed as a "fate" that makes the remote and isolated places compared to the city more beautiful, fresh, and rich in economic development potential. The problem of poverty reduction, building a progressive and prosperous countryside is being solved very well day by day.
Whether going here or there, the tourist boat landing destination, whose owner is one of the first cooperatives in Ia Chim, is still a very unique address, strong enough to create a "brand". Even though the lake is draining water day by day, the healthy and cheerful boats are still eager to turn the stream.
You said, perhaps never before has the wind and water of the lake been so peaceful! Never before have the land and people of Ia Chim and the land and people of Ya Ly, Ya Xier in Sa Thay district been so close together!

Like my old school friends who are now over 60 years old but still amazed, they still praise that the wind and water of Ia Chim are so open and friendly! Chatting animatedly on the boat floating on the water, they happily joined in the story of awakening the tourism potential of this place.
The boat dock meeting point, Plei Weh meeting point is gradually taking shape, promising a not too distant future with a community tourism village combined with a pristine mountain and water tourist area inviting people to come.

The large-scale project connecting the deep areas of Kon Tum City on Provincial Road 671 with Provincial Road 675A, Ya Ly Commune (Sa Thay District) opens up advantages for exchange and prospects for socio-economic development in the area, which has a lot of potential and is gradually awakening.
