Mr. Ban Van Hai's family is a poor household in the locality, having lived for many years in a dilapidated, leaky house. With financial support from the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, his family built a new, spacious house. However, the foundation under the house remains unfinished due to a lack of manpower and funds. Understanding their situation, officers and soldiers of Regiment 148, in coordination with the Provincial Farmers' Association, helped the family level the ground, provided cement, and contributed labor to complete the foundation.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 148 (Division 316) participated in supporting the family of Mr. Ban Van Hai.

With the desire to help Mr. Hai's family become self-reliant, Regiment 148, in coordination with experienced officials of the Provincial Farmers' Association, provided dedicated guidance to his family on safe and efficient vegetable cultivation techniques and scientific poultry farming methods. Fifty healthy chicks were given to Mr. Hai's family. Mr. Ban Van Hai emotionally shared: “My family is extremely grateful to the Party, the State, the local government, and especially the dedicated assistance of the soldiers of Regiment 148 and the officials of the Provincial Farmers' Association. From now on, my family has a stable place to live and no longer worries about leaks and drafts.”

Over the past period, Regiment 148 and the Farmers' Association of Tuyen Quang province have closely coordinated and implemented many practical and effective programs and activities to support people in the area. Many programs have been implemented to improve unproductive gardens, guide the cultivation of clean vegetables according to VietGAP standards, provide high-quality seedlings and livestock, and impart scientific farming knowledge. These programs have helped people access effective economic models, improve agricultural productivity and quality, and significantly improve their income and living standards. Captain Mai Van Thieu, Political Officer of Battalion 6, Regiment 148, affirmed: “We always deeply understand the spirit of solidarity between the military and the people, like fish and water, considering helping the people as a responsibility and an expression of affection from every officer and soldier. Concrete and practical actions, however small, not only contribute to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people in the area where we are stationed, but also firmly consolidate the close, blood-and-flesh relationship between the military and the people, building an increasingly strong 'people's support' base.”
