Mr. Ban Van Hai's family is a poor household in the locality, having lived for many years in a makeshift, dilapidated house. With financial support from the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, his family has built a new, spacious house. However, the foundation under the house is still unfinished due to lack of manpower and funding. Understanding that situation, officers and soldiers of Regiment 148 coordinated with the Provincial Farmers' Association to help his family level the land, support cement and labor to complete the foundation of the house.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 148 (Division 316) participated in supporting Mr. Ban Van Hai's family.

With the desire to help Mr. Hai's family to be self-reliant, Regiment 148 coordinated with experienced cadres of the Provincial Farmers' Association to wholeheartedly guide his family on safe and effective vegetable growing techniques and scientific poultry farming methods. 50 healthy chickens were given to Mr. Hai's family. Mr. Ban Van Hai emotionally shared: "My family is extremely grateful to the Party, the State, the local government, especially the enthusiastic help of the comrades of the 148 Regiment and cadres of the Provincial Farmers' Association. From now on, my family has a stable place to live, no longer worrying about leaking rain and wind."

In recent times, Regiment 148 and the Farmers' Association of Tuyen Quang province have closely coordinated and implemented many practical and effective programs and activities to support local people. Many programs to renovate mixed gardens, guide the cultivation of clean vegetables according to VietGAP standards, support high-quality plants and breeds and scientific livestock knowledge have been implemented, helping people access effective economic models, improve productivity and quality of agricultural products, thereby significantly improving income and life. Captain Mai Van Thieu, Political Commissar of Battalion 6, Regiment 148, affirmed: “We always thoroughly grasp the spirit of solidarity between the army and the people like fish and water, considering helping the people as the responsibility and sentiment of each officer and soldier. Specific and practical actions, no matter how small, not only contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of the people in the stationed area but also firmly consolidate the close relationship between the army and the people, building an increasingly solid "people's hearts and minds position".
