The Hmong mouth organ dance art of Ha Giang province has been recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a national intangible cultural heritage. With the theme "The sound of the Hmong flute calls out to friends," the 10th Hmong Flute Festival of Dong Van District in 2025 is an opportunity to connect the community, promote and introduce the image of the homeland, people, and unique cultural features of Dong Van district to friends at home and abroad; it is a bridge for people, performers, and artisans to interact, exchange, learn, and strengthen solidarity, helping to collect and restore folk songs and dances.
Within the framework of this year's festival, in addition to the dances and flute music of the Mong ethnic group, there are also many performances showcasing the rich culture of other ethnic communities currently living in Dong Van district such as: Lo Lo, Pu Peo, Tay, Giay, Dao; especially, this year's festival also features a performance by the Phu Ninh District Art Troupe (China).
