Hanoi lights up with 3D Mapping art to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2nd

On the evening of August 15, the 3D Mapping light show “Hanoi-Radiant” took place at the Hanoi Opera House and will continue on the evenings of August 29-30 in the Hoan Kiem Lake area. A spectacular and attractive visual art space will recreate the city’s history, contributing to the events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The program "Hanoi-Radiant" is directed by the Hanoi People's Committee, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with Vietsoftpro Group and domestic and foreign artists and technology-art experts.

The program is a combination of contemporary visual art with lighting technology, 3D mapping, music and interactive performances, to recreate unique slices of history, culture and people of Hanoi in its journey of development with the country.

This is not only an activity to celebrate important political-historical events, but also an open public art space, contributing to spreading heritage values to the public, especially the young generation.

Each performance night is an independent work, with its own theme. Particularly on the opening night at the Hanoi Opera House, on the evening of August 15, 3D Mapping content was combined and shown in a program with the theme "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945".

In the next two nights, the program “Hanoi-Radiant” will be held at the Hoan Kiem Lake-Turtle Tower space from 8-10pm on August 29 with the theme “Thang Long Convergence” and August 30 with the theme “Hanoi Sounds” through a 3D Mapping light show on the Turtle Tower combined with a unique water curtain system.

The night of “Thang Long Hoi Tu” will bring the audience back to the legend of the founding of the capital, from the milestone of moving the capital in 1010 to the successful August Revolution, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Meanwhile, “Thanh am Ha Noi” leads the audience into the depth of emotions, where everyday memories turn into the gentle melody of the capital, reflected through the sparkling light between the water curtain of Hoan Kiem Lake.

Through the language of light and visual arts, the heroic historical imprints and stories bearing the cultural and historical imprints of Hanoi will be vividly recreated, bringing the public a new and emotional experience. The space of Hoan Kiem Lake - Turtle Tower will become a "witness" to tell the history of Thang Long - Hanoi, both honoring traditional values and evoking the quintessence, romance and character of Hanoi, so that every viewer can feel the pride and love for the land of a thousand years of civilization.

“Hanoi-Rang Ro” promises to be an artistic, eye-catching and emotional program, recreating the glorious milestones of the country, arousing in the public pride, solidarity, and aspiration to rise up, adding a memorable mark to the series of important commemorative activities of the country.
