The Hanoi People's Committee has just decided to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team for the School Health Program and Food Safety in Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

Delegation 1 was led by Ms. Vuong Huong Giang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. Delegation 2 was led by Mr. Vu Cao Cuong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health .
Members of these inspection teams include officials from the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health.
The inspections will be conducted randomly from October 21 to October 25 at kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in Hanoi.
The delegation is responsible for inspecting the direction and implementation of school health program activities and ensuring food safety in schools; At the same time, inspecting and supervising the implementation of school health regulations: Care, management, and monitoring of student health; Prevention of school diseases, school nutrition, prevention of accidents and injuries; Environmental sanitation, disease prevention, and ensuring clean water.
The two delegations will also inspect the work of ensuring food and drinking water safety in schools and trace the origin of food ingredients supplied to school kitchens; take samples of domestic water/drinking water/food for testing.
After this process, the Delegation synthesizes the inspection results, makes proposals and recommendations to report to the City People's Committee.
