The Biology student on the way to conquering the Olympia peak

Since his junior high school years, Tung has had a passion for History. Tung has read and read many books related to this subject. Historical facts have also been systematized by Tung into a chain of knowledge to make it easy to memorize and remember for a long time. When entering high school, as if by fate, Tung chose to major in Biology. For Tung, Biology has many interesting things. As time passed, from starting to learn knowledge from textbooks to solving advanced exercises, Tung's passion for Biology grew more and more.

Tung's collection of awards includes: First prize in Biology at the provincial level in grade 12, Encouragement prize in Biology in the National Excellent Student Competition in grade 11, First prize in the Provincial Excellent Student Competition in grade 9 when he was a student at Ly Thai To Secondary School... For Tung, each competition and playground is an opportunity to expand knowledge, train mentality and necessary skills. Currently, he is spending more time to review for the National Excellent Student Competition in Biology.

Regarding his study tips, Tung said that he studies the basic knowledge in the textbooks very carefully. After that, he solves exercises and searches for more questions on the internet to practice. The most important thing is that he always keeps his mind relaxed and confident when doing the test.

In the digital transformation era, Tung has applied software and virtual assistants for learning to support his studies. “Many times, I see solutions online that look reasonable but in reality are not the correct answers. Therefore, when using online learning applications, you need to be careful in choosing,” Tung shared.

Tung has always enjoyed and followed intellectual entertainment programs, including Road to Olympia. Entering grade 10, Tung became a member of the Olympia Lighting Club - a gathering place for students who are passionate about learning, exploring and love this competition. Winning first prize in the school-level Olympia Lighting competition, Tung was chosen to represent the school to participate in the competition organized by Vietnam Television. Through each round, Tung confidently demonstrated his knowledge.

Tung said that Road to Olympia is a competition that requires contestants to have multi-platform knowledge in many different fields. For thinking questions and questions related to history, he is quite confident. "This is thanks to the habit of reading newspapers and following daily news. Thanks to that, I have more knowledge in many fields" - Tung confided

At the farewell ceremony for the student on his way to the capital to conquer the final round of the Road to Olympia 2025, Ms. Dang Ngoc Le Thy, Principal of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, was moved and proud to say that Doan Thanh Tung had a journey of learning and training full of courage, high concentration, accurate judgment, and quick reflexes. These are the important factors that contributed to his success in studying as well as in conquering knowledge of the Road to Olympia contest each week, quarter, and the upcoming final round.
