According to the report, there are currently 180 villas in the former Da Lat city area of the province; of which, 166 villas are on the conservation list, and 14 villas are not.
In addition, the province has 1,032 apartment units, 106 detached houses, and 104 temporary housing units. The student dormitory complex on Nguyen Hoang Street has completed and put into operation two blocks, B1 and B2.

However, the management and operation of villas and apartment buildings still face many difficulties. There is a shortage of technical personnel for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical, water, and fire protection systems; the Housing Management Center has not yet fully met the requirements of a professional management and operation unit.
Furthermore, the majority of people living in or using villas and apartments do not directly sign rental contracts, making it difficult to handle any arising issues.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Ho Van Muoi, requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant units to review and compile a list of each project.
It is necessary to clearly assess which projects are operating well and which are under contract but have not yet commenced construction. For projects facing difficulties, the causes must be identified so that solutions can be found together.

Any obstacles arising from local government issues must be clearly stated, and those caused by businesses must be publicly disclosed. Everything must be transparent to ensure appropriate solutions. The ultimate goal is to maximize efficiency and avoid wasting public assets.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that, in order to effectively review and evaluate the work, the Lam Dong Provincial Housing Management Center must first focus on reorganizing its structure to meet the requirements; avoiding the situation where there are enough people and staff but the operation is ineffective.

In addition, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested the Department of Construction to take the lead in coordinating with relevant parties to improve urban beautification; mobilize human and material resources to clean up residential areas and villa complexes; maintain a green, clean, and beautiful landscape, contributing to enhancing the image of the tourist city.
