Hanoi: Timely rescue of people trapped in 3-storey house

At around 7:30 p.m. on June 18, a person was trapped on the third floor of a house at 122 Yen Hoa Street (Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District).

After receiving the news, the Command Information Center - Hanoi City Police dispatched 1 fire truck, 1 rescue vehicle and 13 officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 2 (Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police) to approach the scene and deploy rescue.

At the scene, the victim was identified as a female, about 60 to 65 years old. The rescue commander organized a team using ladders and specialized ropes to approach and secure the victim; at the same time, he deployed specialized cutting and prying tools to create a doorway on the 3rd floor.

After only about 10 minutes of rescue, the authorities took the victim out of the danger zone and handed him over to his family.
