The team members come from 8 high schools including: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Son Tay High School for the Gifted, Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Hoang Long High School, Quang Trung - Ha Dong High School, Newton Middle School and High School, Luong The Vinh Middle School and High School.

According to the plan, the teams will be organized for centralized training from October 16 to December 25, 2025.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi students continued to affirm their leading position in the country in national and international competitions for excellent students. They won 3 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals and 9 Bronze Medals internationally.

Along with that, there are 200 students who won prizes in the national excellent student competition, clearly affirming the position and prestige of the capital's key education.
