Hanoi is brilliant with flags and flowers to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd.

(CPV) – To celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the streets of Hanoi are decorated with flags, flowers, banners, slogans, propaganda paintings, large billboards, etc., becoming more and more vibrant and lively. The propaganda activities also contribute to fostering pride and confidence among the people in the achievements of the revolution, the cause of innovation and the country's international integration.

At Ba Dinh Square, on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, announcing to all the people and the world the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Amidst the golden sunshine of the historic August autumn , the red flag with yellow star proudly flies on top of the Hanoi Flag Tower, a symbol of indomitable spirit and national pride.

The former Bac Bo Palace building (now at 12 Ngo Quyen, Trang Tien ward, Hoan Kiem district), which marked the General Uprising to seize power (August 19, 1945) of the people of the Capital.

On this occasion, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the streets of Hanoi are decorated with flags, flowers, banners, slogans, propaganda paintings, large billboards... making the streets more brilliant and lively.

Many streets of the capital are filled with red to celebrate the nation's great holiday.

Many central streets such as Hoang Dieu, Hung Vuong, Dinh Tien Hoang, Dien Bien Phu... are decorated with slogans, propaganda paintings, and billboards celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, is solemnly present on Hoang Dieu Street.

The national flag is flying brightly in both small alleys and main streets of Hanoi.

The national flags, bright red banners, and colorful billboards together demonstrate the country's strong growth.

Propaganda and agitation activities on historical and cultural traditions, patriotism, revolutionary heroism and the spirit of great national unity contribute to consolidating and fostering people's pride and confidence in the achievements of the revolution, the cause of national renewal and international integration under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This year, on the occasion of the National Day holiday on September 2nd, workers will have 4 days off (August 31st - September 3rd). On this occasion, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will offer free double-decker buses "Hanoi City Tour" from September 1st to 4th for tourists visiting Hanoi. Along with the propaganda work on major events of the country, on this occasion, the capital's residents and tourists will have the opportunity to participate in programs of discovery, sightseeing, and art performances to celebrate, which are regularly held at cultural centers and cultural and entertainment areas of Hanoi.
